Gur Veer "Bill" Mehta
Gur Veer "Bill"Mehta, aged 81 passed away June 6, 2024. He was born on March 24, 1943 in Agra, India to Gur Saran Das Mehta and Santosh Chawla. He was preceded by his parents and son-in-law Albert Shillingford. Bill joins them in eternal peace.
Bill was a devoted husband, father and opa, and friend who will be deeply deeply missed by all.who knew him. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years Magdalena "Magda" Mehta, his daughter Sanja Shillingford, his sons Jim Mehta (Isabel), Rahoul Mehta (Donna), and his grand daughters Sabrina and Alyssa Mehta.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Tuesday June 11 at 1:30 pm in Heritage Hall located at Holland Christian Homes - 7900 McLaughlin Road Brampton. Reception to follow immediately at 3 pm at Horizon Hall located across the street at King Tower - 35 Kingknoll Drive, Brampton.
All who knew Gur Veer "Bill" Mehta are invited to join us and celebrate him.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
