GREGORY PAUL WILKINSON
May 30, 1957- March 8, 2016
We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Greg at the age of 58 years on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Greg was a dedicated and respected educator with the TCDSB until his retirement in 2013. In recent years, Greg had an opportunity to utilize his handyman skills to make many home improvements. Always a golf enthusiast, Greg recently developed a passion for bowling. And of course, as a lifelong Leaf fan, he was anticipating the rebuild of the team in the future.
Above all, Greg was devoted to his family.
Predeceased by his father Carl Wilkinson, he was a devoted and loving son to Mary Wilkinson and loyal brother to Lorne and Glen Wilkinson.
Greg will be forever remembered by his adoring wife and soulmate Jo and his children whom he loved more than words can say: his precious daughter Andrea and her husband Matt Pitula and newborn granddaughter Charlotte who brought Greg so much joy in such a short time. He was so proud of his cherished son Alex and his fiancé Cristina Schieda.
Greg was much loved by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Rosaria Baldanza, his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Anthony Baldanza (Irma), Frank Baldanza (Anne Snider) and Joseph Baldanza (Mary Dart). He was a caring uncle to Megan, Sara and Emily Cross-Wilkinson; Andrew, Christopher and Jessica Baldanza; Michael and Christina Baldanza and Jack and Ally Baldanza. Greg also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends he held dear.
Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Highway 7, 905-851-9100) on Thursday, March 10th from 6 - 9 p.m. and on Friday, March 11th from 2 - 4 and from 7 - 9 p.m. A prayer service is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 12th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

We are never far apart
You will never be forgotten
You are always in our hearts."
