Gregoria Vingua

Our family sadly lost our pillar of strength on Friday, February 4, 2022, when Mrs. Gregoria Rufina Geron Vingua, 72, favorably known as Inang, passed away from renal failure. It was a battle that she had been fighting bravely for the last seven years.

Gregoria was born on February 8, 1949, in Isabella, the Philippines. She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Virgilio, and her eight children: Nida, Mary-Ann, Elsa, Belinda, Victor, Carmelita, Virgilio Jr., and Gina, as well as her 19 grandchildren.


She is also survived by her mother, Milagros Castillo, and siblings Henry Geron, Carmen Salvador, and Masing Domingo.


Her legacy will live on in her through her children as well as everyone she interacted with.

A small family service was held on February 8, 2022 at the Ward Funeral Home on Weston Road in Toronto. The family asks that donations can also be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
