Gordon Bethleham Mercer
On Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10 p.m. Gordon, died peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 79.
He is survived by his wife Hyacinth Simmons of 45 years, sister Diane (Pat) Foley, brother Frank (Betty) Mercer, his many nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Ada and Frank, and brother Barry.
Gordon was a very kind man who touched the lives of everyone he met. Our loss is great, but his love is undying.
He was a dedicated Police Constable with Metropolitan Toronto Police for 35 years. His love for his community and family was unsurpassed. Gordon will forever watch over us and will be forever loved until
“country roads take us home!”
