Gordon Bain

BAIN, Gordon Stewart (Retired Chairman of Penguin Random House Canada) – after a short illness, passed away quietly at the Trillium Health Centre on September 15, 2016 at the age of 82. Cherished best friend and husband of Katheleen (nee Lawson) for 49 years. Gordon will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends in both Vancouver and Toronto. Friends may visit at the Salvation Army Yorkminister Citadel, 1 Lord Seaton Road, Toronto on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Gordon’s Life at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army Yorkminster Citadel Special Projects would be appreciated by the family.
