Gloria Smith The Loving Matriarch

Gloria May Smith was born on May 4, 1947. She was born in Manchester,
Jamaica. Her parents were Myrtle and Neville Smith. Gloria passed away on
May 17, 2021 at Markham Stouffville Hospital, in Markham Ontario. Her legacy
is her two remaining siblings Icentia Griffiths, and Marcia Rhodd, one son Paul
Smith, daughter-in-law in Tamara Smith, and four grandchildren Tyrell, Tevald,
Tamia, and Tristan Smith. Gloria leaves behind many nephews, nieces, cousins,
and friends that will all miss her dearly. Gloria was a loving, kind, woman of
God. She spent her life loving her family especially her son, Paul. She worked
for over 40 years at McGregor Meat and Seafood where she earned numerous
awards for her dedication and contribution to the company, although she would
say that her biggest accomplishment in life was raising her son and seeing his
family grow. Gloria Smith was a loving woman who leaves a legacy of love that
cannot be filled and her impact on her family was profound. She showered
everyone with love and positivity, she truly was a delight to be around. Gloria
loved to cook and entertain others. Her favourite television shows were Young
and the Restless, Smallville, and Jeopardy. Her funeral service will be held on
June 5th, 2021.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
