With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Glen. Pre-deceased by his bride Alice (2006). Loving father to Zoë (Mike), Eve (Tim), Gwyneth (Murray) and David. Creative and quirky Grand to Sarah (Nelson), Laura (Ben), Eric, Katie (Barry), Emily, Hannah, Grace, Angie and Ellen and great-granddaughter Sophie. Will be remembered by sister Gwen, nieces Cathy, Janet (Clyde), nephew Andrew, as well as family in England; Mary, Rose (Derrick), Victoria, Robert and Jeremy. Glen was a creative and unique individual who could be trusted to find a unique angle to any idea, project or event. His dry wit, irreverence, curiosity and crazy creativity were enjoyed by many. He was a lifelong artist in both his professional career as a Graphic Artist and his personal life. Family and friends are blessed with examples of his extensive artistic talents. Other interests and talents included photography, canoeing, backpacking, cooking, reading, and music. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Glen’s life at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, ON, on Saturday, December 27, 2014 with visitation from 1 – 2 p.m. followed by a service and reception. As an expression of sympathy donations are suggested to the SickKids Foundation or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. Please visit the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
