McLean, Gladys Winifred,
After a full life of singing, dancing and bowling, Gladys Winifred McLean (nee Lawrence) passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred McLean and the late Douglas McGuire. She is survived by her children Lawrence (Pat), Joan and Rosemary (John) and sister Connie Cross. A caring grandmother to Geoffrey McGuire (Alison), Erin Tyrrell (Rob) and Laura & Leslie Booth. A proud great grandmother to Ewan & Patrick Mills-McGuire and Cameron Tyrrell. Gladys is fondly remembered by Marilyn McGuire, Doug Booth, several nieces and nephews and extended family. Thanks to the caring staff at West Park Long Term Care Facility. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Friday from 7-9p.m.
A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 3:30p.m. Cremation to follow. In memory of Gladys, wear your favourite hat.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario would be appreciated.
