It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Giuseppe Pavarin at the age of 86 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.
He was a devoted and loving husband and is survived by his wife Aurora "Nora" (nee Santi) of 62 years. Loving father to Lavinia (Maurice) and Sabina (Bruno). Proud grandfather to Joseph, Angela (Adam), Stefanie, Danielle, Mathew, Michael (Madison), Alexandra and great grandfather to Jack and Emma.
Giuseppe was born in Castelfranco, Veneto, Italy and immigrated to Canada alone at the age of 21. In 1961 he returned to Italy to marry the love of his life, together they embarked on their next journey which brought them to Toronto where they both worked hard to build a wonderful home and life not only for themselves but most importantly for their children and grandchildren.
He was a quiet man with a gentle soul and a heart of gold. In his later years he was a man of few words, but when he spoke he made every word count.
He will be remembered for his love of a great Juventus soccer game, his passion for hunting, playing bocce, a good card game, for growing radicchio but most importantly for loving his family beyond words and for his truly immense love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
"Forever loved, always remembered"
