Giuseppe Parisi
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Parisi on Friday, April 17, 2020 at William Osler Hospital, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Anna Parisi and beloved father of Peter (Angela), grandfather to Anna (Joe) and Milena, and great-grandfather to Andreas. He is survived by brother-in-law Tony Alcamo (Josie) and sister-in-law Pina Figliomeni (Joe).
He was born in Vita, a small village in Sicily. At the young age of 18 he served in the Italian Army for 18 months. Following his army service, he immigrated to Venezuela where he worked for three years.
In 1956, Giuseppe followed his love, Anna, by immigrating to Canada where they later married and raised their only child Peter.
He will be dearly remembered and deeply missed by his family and those who knew him.
