NARVALI, Mr. Giuseppe (Joe)
Joe passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28th, 2022 at Brampton Civic Hospital with his son by his side.
At the age of 92 (as he just recently celebrated his birthday September 18) my Dad was able to spend his life as he always wanted, in his own home until his last day, even though he wasn’t very mobile for years, Thanks to Alexa, Mae & Franz for their 24 hour care of him to allow him the gift of remaining in his own home. They were not just his care givers but became our extended family and I thank you all for that.
From a family of 5 brothers and 3 sisters my Dad is survived by his only living sibling, his youngest brother Peter Narvali. Who he always fondly remembered carrying him on his shoulders as they ran for cover during the second world war in Italy. I will miss his stories of surviving through the war and his intermingling with Italian, German and American soldiers savaging for food to help his family survive as well, A special thanks to his niece Angela for her continual support and contact with him as it brought a special smile to his face every time he heard her voice.
Joe was a devoted husband and took special care of my mother , Lidia, during her battle with Alzheimer’s and especially the last 8 years of her life when she was at Peel Manor Nursing Home. Rain, snow or shine he would get up every morning and prepare a treat for her and see her from 10 AM to 2 PM like clockwork.
He will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
