Surrounded by her family, Giulia Cinti passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario.

 Predeceased by beloved husband Carlo (1935-2021) of 65 years. Loving Mother of Alessandro (Anna) and Roberto (Giuliana). Dear Nonna of Natalia ( Orane), Daniel (Mariya), Stefania (Jonathan), Kayla, Bianca, and Tonino (‘Tony’).

Cherished sister of Maria ( the late Valentino) , Vincenzo (Agatha), and Gerardo (Helen). Predeceased by sister Gina.

Giulia was born August 15th, 1938, in Scifelli, Frosinone, Italy to Alfredo and Filomena Lisi. At age 16, Giulia arrived in Canada (Halifax, NS) with the rest of her family on April 1st, 1954. Shortly after arrival, she started working at Daltons factory in downtown Toronto where she remained for 18 years. Giulia Lisi married Carlo Cinti in 1956 and had first son, Alessandro in 1957 and Roberto in 1962. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who threw some of the best surprise parties. Giulia wasn’t afraid of hard work; whether it be cooking for days before an event, shoveling the driveway as the first snowflake touched the ground, or tending to her house and garden. She treated everyone like family and always made sure you had food to take home. Giulia will be remembered by friends and family as a passionate, strong and generous woman.
