Giovannina Sinopoli

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Giovannina Sinopoli, who died at the age of 97 on December 9, 2024. Born in Gagliato Catanzaro on February 1, 1927. 

Predeceased by her husband Frank (2020), brothers Antonio, Salvatore, Domenico, and Nicola, Sisters Raffaela and Maria. She is survived by her sister Giuseppina.

Fondly remembered by her sons John (Tina) and Robert (Anne). Proud Nonna of her granddaughters Katia (Jeremy), Nicole (Fonz), Alexandra, and Felicia (Dave). Loving Great Grandmother to her great grandchildren Xavier, Aurora, and Julian. 

Giovannina, our mother, was a loving and feisty woman who loved her family above all. She gave and received love by friends and family alike. We are deeply grateful for the precious gift of her life and all the blessings she brought into our lives. 

Special thank you to her caregiver Tahira Shaheen, who lovingly took care of her. Thanks to her PSWs Ester and Paulina.
