Giovanni (John) DeFrenza

It is with shattered hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Giovanni Cameron DeFrenza affectionately called “Johnny." Giovanni (Johnny) Cameron DeFrenza passed away on July 4, 2023.

Johnny was born to Heather & Raffaele DeFrenza of Toronto, on June 23,1981. Beloved twin of Sonya and younger brother of Donato. He will be lovingly remembered by the Cameron & DeFrenza families. He is now reunited in heaven with his older brother Donato Arden DeFrenza, Uncle Fedele and dearest grandparents.

Johnny had a loving gentle soul, He loved animals, playing hockey & drawing. John loved to make people laugh, he had a laugh that was most infectious. People will most remember Johnny by his kind heart, always willing to help someone in need. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Friends and Family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Highway 27, Woodbridge).
