Giovanni Gizzarelli

Passed away peacefully on Monday January 6, 2025 at the age of 87.

He is re-united with his beloved wife, Emilia (2021) and recently his son, Gino, as well as his parents, Giuseppe and Concetta, his brother Nick, and his sister Antonietta. Cherished dad to Joe (Paula) and his daughter-in-law, Maria. Proud Nonno to John, Michael, Luca, Emily and Michael. Dear brother to his sister, Rosina. Giovanni will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and many friends, who knew him to be passionate about his avid bicycle riding, a great game of bocce on a summer’s day, or his pleasurable enjoyment of music.

Thank you to the staff and friends at Villa Santa Maria who cared for Giovanni and will miss him and his joyous smile dearly. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, if desired.
