Giovanni Covello
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanni Covello. He passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 7th, 2021 at Cartellucci Vaughan Hospital at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of 61 years to Lina Covello, loving father of Daniela Da Silva and Gianfranco Covello, son-in-law George DaSilva, daughter-in-law Marisa Luisi Covello. He was cherished and dearly missed by his grand children Daniel and Jessica DaSilva, and Emma and Sara Covello.
Giovanni immigrated to Canada in 1967 and quickly began working in construction to support his growing family. He enjoyed gardening and bringing his Italian traditions of making wine, tomato sauce, and prociuttos.
He was an avid handy man who helped with anything his family needed. He will be remembered with love and respect by his family, neighbours, and friends.
