Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday September 26, 2016 at the age of 95. Devoted husband of Donata of 66 wonderful years. Proud father of Luigi (Norma Jean), Franca Collu-Marchese (Vince Marchese), Fernanda (Richard Terentiak) and Pietrina Collu. Cherished Nonno of Valerie, Michael, Lori, Melania, Anteo, Massimo, Mauro and Liam. Bisnonno of Courtney, Joshua, Alessia, Gianluca and Leonardo. Giovanni will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. “Forever in our hearts.”
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. A mass be celebrated at St. David’s Parish 2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple on Thursday September 29, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment at Prospect Cemetery.
