Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Thursday May 12, 2022 at the age of 88. Devoted wife of the late Reduccio. Proud and loving mother of Sandra (Clifford) and Dennis (Nadia). Cherished Nonna of Anthony, Alysa (Mark) and Alanna (Andrew). She will be sadly missed by her siblings Pia (late Giancarlo), Dina (Paolo), and Franca (Fernando) as well as her many family and friends. Giovanna has been reunited with her loving parents Enrico and Caterina, the love of her life Reduccio and her dear siblings Maria (Giovanni) and Bruna (Marino).

She will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren who would bring a radiant smile to her face and were her pride and joy. Nonna enjoyed singing and telling stories to her grandchildren and family meals were made extra special with Nonna’s delicious lasagna.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday May 16, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Roch’s Parish 2889 Islington Ave., North York. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
