It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Giovanna, loving wife of Antonio (Tony) Di Fazio Sr.
Devoted mother of Antonio Di Fazio Jr (Susan), Robert Di Fazio, Gaetano Di Fazio (Rosa), and Rose Di Fazio.
Loving nonna of Nicholas & Larisa Di Fazio, Daniela & Jay Vitagliano, Emilia, Marco & Daniel Di Fazio, Matthew, Sabrina & Michael Di Fazio, and Daniel, Julia & Luca Farrugia.
Loving great grandmother of Dante Lees.

Giovanna was born in Napoli, Italy and came to Canada in 1965 . Together with Tony, they raised their 4 children in Brampton. She worked as a custodian for the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board for over 30 years.
With her strength and courage, Giovanna was able to conquer cancer on two separate occasions in her life. Sadly, after a long and difficult struggle, she was quietly called to God's loving embrace.

Giovanna was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchild. She valued her time with her family and greatly enjoyed preparing meals and having the family gather together. Words cannot express how much she was loved and how greatly she will missed by all who knew her.

A private service will be held on October 1st for the immediate family. In kindness, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.


Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the Funeral Service will be private.
