Giovanna Giuliano-Turco

Our dearest Giovanna passed away on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 64. Gio loved her family and friends fiercely. Born on April 18th, 1960, Giovanna was the daughter of Cesina Giancola and Paolo Giuliano. Giovanna was the matriarch of our family and she will be deeply missed. Giovanna is survived by her husband Sam and two children, Alexandra and Simona, sons-in-law, Cosimo and Brendan and grandchildren, Sienna and Olivia. She is survived by her brothers, Peter Giuliano and Marco Giuliano and sisters-in-law Maria Giuliano, Clemence Cloutier, Linda Rinaldi and brother-in-law Frank Rinaldi. She was an aunt to Michael, Camille, Isabella, Paolo, Alexandra, Stefano, Sofia, Michaela. May she rest eternally with her baby brother Tony in heaven. 

A celebration of life will be held at Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 from 1pm to 6pm. Let us share memories, stories and moments to celebrate her beautiful life. 

There will be a mass to celebrate Giovanna on February 25th, 2025 at 7pm. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 300 Ansley Grove, Woodbridge. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Giovanna's name to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation
