It with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Giovanna Basso on November 21, 2024 at the age of 87. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Luigi. Loving mother to Doris (Mike) and Elvi (Maryanne). Proud nonna to Daniel (Sara), Vanessa (Stephen), Justin (Nadine), Giselle (Anthony). Adoring bisnonna to Giacomo, Harlow, Celine, Mason, Lyla and Carter.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Tuesday, November 26 from 4-9 pm.  Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Avenue), Woodbridge on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 9:30 am. 

Private family interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. 

Donations may be made in Giovanna’s memory to Alzheimer’s society or charity of your choice.
