It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina Martin (nee
Basso) on January 1, 2022 at the age of 98. Devoted wife of the late
Alfredo. Proud mother of the late Fortunato aka John; Alberta (Sergio) and
Clara (Rai). Cherished Nonna and Loving Great-Nonna of her many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gina will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Fondly
remembered for her love of cooking.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Wednesday January 5, 2022 from 12 pm till 1 pm. A private family funeral and interment will follow visitation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
