Giannina Di Sante

On Thursday October 17, 2019, at the age of 93, Giannina "Laura" DiSante passed away at the Reactivation Care Centre (formerly Humber Hospital YorkFinch site).

Laura was born on September 28, 1926 in Fano, Italy to parents Alfredo and Palmira Pistarelli, along with her twin sister Gina. They were the third and fourth of 10 children. Laura married Venezio DiSante on December 13, 1953, and after 46 years together he passed on March 3, 1999).

She is predeceased by her siblings, Mirella, Iole, Ines, Giuseppina (Pina), Eugenio, and Ida.

Laura is lovingly remembered by her two children, Elizabeth (Joe), and Dennis (Carol-Ann), her grandchildren Christina, Kyle, and Caitlin, and great grandson Benjamin.

She also leaves behind her twin sister Gina, brother Dino, and sister Fiorella (Italy).
