Gianlucio Muzzatti

Gianlucio Muzzatti. Loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday February 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Husband to Renata Muzzatti, father to Lucas(Natalie), David and William(Vanessa), and grandfather to Mila, Aria and Logan. Gianni was a proud man who believed in a hard days work and always provided for his family. He was a dedicated plumber who owned his own company and called all his sons to come work for him.

 Summers were meant for work and days off and weekends off were negotiated by our union rep, mom. The fondest family trips were going to Florida, where, after a short 22 hour drive, he would end up laying on a hot beach with a beautiful view. His driving fuel was many, many cups of espresso. Gianni loved spending time with his family, he taught us all to fish and later taught William to golf. His love of golf led him to be a Marshall at the Honda Classic and even the pleasure of meeting golf greats like Tiger Woods and getting a hat full of autographs. 

He was a man who loved animals or more so they loved him. All animals seemed to gravitate to him, he was like St. Francis of Assisi. He took great pride in his ‘CUDA. He loved that car, owner from day one. He washed it with reverence, showed it with pride and raced it in his younger days with maybe a hint bravado and irreverence. And then in the end set his sights on two wheels and the thrill of the road separated by nothing but the tires of the Harley Davidson he drove and the hot asphalt below. Our superman, forever loved by his last living sibling Regina Anna and all of his family and friends. He will be the topic of many stories for years to come with all he has accomplished.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Church 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge. Interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
