Giancarlo "John" Leone

Giancarlo “John” Leone, age 51, died of natural causes on morning of March 23, 2016, in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada.
Giancarlo is survived by his Wife Tracey, Daughter Danya, Son Jonathan, Sisters Maralisa & Dania, Brother Marcello and Mother Rita.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Nevio & Gilda Leone, Ernesto and Domenica Camarra, Father Vern Leone and Sister Gilda Leone
Giancarlo was born on April 1, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to parent’s Vern and Rita Leone. He had a rewarding and long standing successful career in the Transit Bus and Motorcoach Industry, where he held progressive positions from humble beginnings to executive leadership roles, and was well respected by his colleagues and clients, which many became loyal friends.
Giancarlo was a great family man and a loving father. He married Tracey in 1983 and the couple had 2 children together.
Giancarlo was a social, active man who was deeply involved DIY projects on his home, cars and power sports equipment. He also enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, traveling and cottaging. He enjoyed family gatherings, playing golf, fishing, fine dining and wine. His family and friends will always remember him as a passionately giving person who would help all in need, and a man who deeply loved and cared for his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to me made in his honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, through Ward Funeral Home, via website, phone or in person.
