OOSTERMAN, Gerritje (Gerri) Geertruida (nee Bloemendal) - Born in Putten, Netherlands, September 15, 1922, passed away in Brampton, Ontario February 9, 2010. Daughter of the late Anthon Bloemendal and Katherine Laarman; adored wife of the late Jan Simon Oosterman; sister of Anthon Bloemendal and the late Reine van der Molen; beloved mother of Ineke Sutherland (Chris Foster), Janneke Worthington (Greg Worthington) and Gerry Oosterman (Peter Mara); grandmother of Grant (Tina), Wendy (Jim), Janna (Luka), Kevin (Gina) and Greer, great-grandmother of Hayden. Visitation at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S., Brampton 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Febuary 11; also 10:30-11 a.m. Friday, February 12 at the chapel of Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton, followed by a funeral service and interment led by Pastor Dirk Kramer. Reception to follow at Horizon Hall, King Tower, Holland Christian Homes, 35 Kingknoll Dr., Brampton.
