Passed away peacefully at the West Oak Village Long Term Care Home on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at the age of 91. Survived by his wife Edel Kaars Sijpesteijn, his children Pieter, Janneke and Maria, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private funeral and internment will be held on Thursday May 25. After the internment, family and friends will be received for a celebration of life at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
