Gerard (Gerry) Lloyd Poitras passed away suddenly at his home in Toronto on January 25, 2022 at the age of 62. Gerard is survived by his loving wife Wendy, his children Chantel (Terry), Michael (Samantha) and Joshua. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alyssa Chambers and Jason, Crystal, Jeremy Poitras. He was predeceased by his mother, Yvonne (Levesque) and his father, Gerard, Sr. He is survived by his siblings Roland, Linda, Wayne and Gloryanne. He will be missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Gerry spent most of his adult life driving transport trucks across Canada and then worked locally in the paving and snow clearing fields. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Road) on Saturday January 29th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.

A private cremation will take place.
