In Loving Memory of Georgina Serwaah

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Georgina Serwaah, who departed from us on October 8, 2024, in Ghana, West Africa. Born in 1964 in Kumasi Ghana. Georgina was a beacon of love, strength, and warmth to all who knew her.

Georgina dedicated her life to her family and community, bringing light, laughter, and wisdom wherever she went. Her compassionate spirit, gentle nature, and unwavering support were a constant source of comfort and inspiration. She touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and enduring resilience, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.

Georgina’s journey was marked by her commitment to her loved ones, her faith, and her enduring connection to her heritage. She returned to Ghana in July 2024 to honor family during a time of mourning, demonstrating once again her deep commitment to family bonds. Despite an unexpected illness that prolonged her stay, her strength and grace remained evident until her final days.

She is survived by her children, including her daughters Constance Aniwaah, Peace Serwaah her grandchildren, siblings, and numerous relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her deeply. While we mourn her passing, we take solace in the many cherished memories we shared with her.

A service to honor and celebrate Georgina’s life will be held at Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge on Friday, November 22 at 10:45am. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in paying tribute to an extraordinary woman who will be dearly missed but forever remembered.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
