George Toarba

George Toarba passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 5th, 2019. He was the beloved son of his late parents, Constantin and Maria Toarba; the cherished brother of Carmen Malfara (Nick Malfara); and a loving father to Alberto and Edward Toarba. He will be dearly remembered and missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

George was always filled with life; he was someone who loved a good laugh and a good joke. His sense of humor was infectious and he was quick to make those around him smile. In his youth, he was lively and joyous, often spending time outside and working with his hands. He was adventurous and spent countless nights enjoying the company of his family and friends. George loved music, good food and a good poker game with his friends. It is this positive and strong attitude that helped him fight through the last 15 years of his life after conquering cancer despite the odds. His spirit is no longer confined to his body, and he is undoubtedly free in Heaven, joining his mother, father, grandparents, uncle Titi, and loved ones. George was a beautiful man, inside and out, and it is with heavy hearts that we mourn his passing on Earth. Yet, it is with peace in our hearts that we remember and celebrate his life, that we cherish the memories, and rejoice in knowing we will meet him again in paradise.

George, rest easy now, may your days be filled with sun and laughter, may you spend them fishing and relaxing, unburdened and boundless. Your family will miss you endlessly. May God bless your soul and may you smile down on us from Heaven.
