Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Marg for 30 years. Loving father of Jayne Harley (Eric), Nancy Harley-Footman, and Catherine Harley (Garth), Kelly Mitchell (John), Kevin Liley (Kim) and Heather O’Donnell (Brian). Proud Papa of Mackenzie, Wallace, Owen, Telfer, Robyn (Andrew), Jill (Steve), Shannon, Brianna, and Loghan. Great grandfather of Jack. Survived by his brother Harry (Marg). Past President of Brampton Real Estate Board, Brampton Kiwanis Club, Brampton Board of Trade and Mitchell Real Estate. Celebrated 54 years as a Realtor and Downtown Brampton Booster. Brampton Business Person of the year in 1983.
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Tuesday October 18, 2011 from 5-8 pm.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Wednesday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 44 Church Street, Brampton at 10 am.
Interment to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery
