Beloved mother, Nonna and friend passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 after a lengthy battle with early onset dementia. When she was well, she seemed like a magician to us all. Just watching her in the kitchen was dazzling. Please count it among the true shames of your life if you never got to try her cooking. She didn't have an easy life but Genny was always kind and brought joy with her wherever she went. She loved singing, fashion and wore cat eye sunglasses like no one else could. We'll remember her full of life and smiling, and we miss and love her very much. Riposa in pace.
