CIPRIANI, Gennaro Gaetano – After a courageous battle with lung cancer he slipped peacefully away at Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the age of 55. Gennaro will be sadly missed by his sons, Mark (girlfriend Stefanie) and Michael (girlfriend Antonietta), his daughter, Monica, and his loving parents, Ada and Domenico. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Angela, his brother, Anthony, his brother-in-law, Michael Carli, his sister-in-law, Joanna, and his beloved nonnina, Maria Cirone. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, Dominique and Jacqueline, his nephew, Domenico, and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who stood by his side until his passing. Gennaro’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the remarkable doctors and nurses of Princess Margaret Hospital, especially Dr. Mak and his team, Dr. Liu, Dr. Brade, and the nurses on the 16th floor who are truly angels on Earth. Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel), 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge on Tuesday, September 17th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, September 18th at 12:00 p.m. at St. Roch’s Roman Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).
