It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Genevieve Harpaul on Friday May 7th, 2021 at the age of 60. Devoted wife of Deon of 26 wonderful years. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Jenny will be fondly remembered for her love of multicultural music, which would always be playing while she entertained her family and she loved to dance. There was never a party without Jen. She loved to live life and enjoyed traveling. Her family was where her heart was “she was the glue that held them together.” Jenny was the daughter of the late Cyril and Khanizan Gonsalves. Jenny was born in Guyana, lived in Canada for many many years and then moved to Florida where she passed 2 weeks ago.
Our loving Jenny, a woman who shed light into our lives each day. Someone so family oriented, who deeply loved her husband Deon. A woman with a spontaneous personality. She was someone who would always put others before herself. She made everyone feel welcomed and safe; she was never one to judge, she accepted everyone with open arms.
