It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gary Victor Playford on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, at the young age of 65, at the Carpenter Hospice. Wonderfully loving and caring father, biggest supporter, and dessert buddy to daughter, Melody, who was his number one. Sadly missed by sister Lynn, and brother-in-law Ed. Predeceased by father Victor, mother Jacqueline, sister Carol, and brother-in-law Daryl. Beloved uncle. Devoted grandpaw. Respected and loved by all family and friends. Gary cherished each moment of life, bite of food, golf swing, NFL game, vehicle, workout, laugh, technology, and time spent with family and friends. He challenged himself to learn as much as possible, and be the best version of himself each day. He was the most incredible role model for not only his daughter, but his friends, family, the people he worked with and led, and each person he met. He never held back kisses, hugs, or I love you’s. Courageously positive, brave, strong, goofy, hilarious, kind, extremely smart, generous, humbly confident, and always in our hearts.
We love you very much. May you rest in peace.
Millions of kisses, hugs, and cookies for you, Dad.
