Longtime Transit Operator with Brampton Transit.

Peacefully on Thursday April 25th, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Carole Kent. Loving father of Joe and his wife Deborah, and of James and his partner Jenn. Dear grandfather of Erin. Remembered by his sister Donna Veisor and by his brother Duane Kent. Gary will be greatly missed by his cousin Pat and her husband Bob (Gary's long-time best friend), and by his sister in law Patricia and her husband Roger. Gary will be remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2100 Jane Street Toronto on Tuesday April 30th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery
