Joseph “Gary” Gallant
March 23, 1948 – March 26, 2017

With breaking hearts we announce Gary’s passing. Beloved husband of 49 years to Renate “Rene” and devoted father to son Jamie who he cherished with his whole heart. Gary is pre-deceased by his mother Eileen Wedge and father Edward Gallant of Howlan, P.E.I. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Louis (Sharon), Lloyd (Marily), Wayne Wedge (Cindy), his sisters Sheila MacKinnon (Raymond), Rosemaire McNally (Patrick), Sharon Lynch (Adrian), sister-in-law Bernice, uncles, nieces and nephews, and their families and his many cousins. Gary came to Toronto from P.E.I. in 1965. Family meant everything to him and he worked hard all his life. He was my rock always. His easy going manner and helpfulness led him to make friends easily which lasted a lifetime, He enjoyed working in the yard, having a game of 45 with his brother Lou and when the family got together, and a good game of Bingo with his “Buds” Gary my love you left us much too soon and we miss your dear face. We will love you always and keep you in our hearts forever.
