Peacefully on March 15, 2014 at Humber River Regional Hospital at the age 75. Loving husband of Edith for 46 years. Devoted father of Michele and Robert. Garry leaves behind his sister Charlene and brother Charles and Bertha, brother-in-law Joe Oldford, and many family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Mildred, his sisters Mildred McIntosh and Betty Oldford, and brother-in-law Harry Ditchburn. Garry worked for Marshall Industries for 30 years and City of York Hydro for 14 years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday March 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9. A Celebration of Garry’s life will be held in the Ward Chapel on Thursday March 20th, 2014 at 11am. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
