Peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 29, 2017, two weeks shy of his 95th birthday. Predeceased by his wife Flo of 50 years. Loving father to Ray (Kerstin) and Bryan (Laurie). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Matthew (Sara), Ryan, Corwyn and Tyson and his 5 great grandchildren Raiya, Olivia, O’rion, Henry, and Eric. He is survived by his older sister Teenie who resides in St. John, New Brunswick. Beau and Aero will miss his visits. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at Downsview United Church, 2822 Keele St., North York, on Friday at 11am. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Downsview United Church would be appreciated.
