Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday September 3, 2022 at the age of 97. Devoted husband of the late Giannina. Proud father of Maurizio and loving father in law of Sandra. Cherished Nonno of Andrea (Michael), Lisa (Adam) and Sonia (Chris). Loving Bis Nonno of Abigail, Emily and Julian. Gaetano will be sadly missed.

A cabinet maker by trade, Gaetano enjoyed working with his hands. He loved being in the garden tending to his fruits and vegetables. In his younger days he would make his own wine and always enjoyed a glass with dinner. His first love was his family which would always bring a smile to his face.

Gaetano has been reunited with the love of his life Giannina.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
