Died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday July 19th, 2013 at Humber River Regional Hospital, Church St. at the age of 92. Supported by his loving wife, Irene Mary Wright. Predeceased by his first wife, Hilda Ruth Small, and parents Alex and Martha Forrest. Survived by sons Lyn (Colleen) and David (Darlene), grandsons Mark, Alex and Michael, great granddaughter Natalie Forrest, and by sister Lois Hawkes and brother Ronald (Elaine). Served during five years of World War II in the RCAF. A career of 41 years with the CIBC (Bank) retiring in 1985 as Assistant Secretary. A long time member of, and active in , Westminster United Church in Weston.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service and reception will be held at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, 31 St. Philips Road in Etobicoke on Wednesday July 24th, 2013 at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at Alliston Union Cemetery.
