Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre surrounded by loving family members on October 2, 2013 in his 91st year. Loving husband of the late Rita. Dear father of Gerry (Maria) and Michael (Susan). Devoted Papa of Laura (Cameron), David (Sonya), Norah, Paul, Philip and Jamie. Beloved brother of Sister Mary Cockburn CND. Predeceased by brothers Alf and Ray. Longtime employee of Bell Canada and dedicated parishioner of Annunciation of our Lady Parish, Don Mills, St. Mary’s Brampton and St. Timothy’s Orangeville. A special thank you to the staff at Avalon Retirement Lodge and Father Sean for their kindness and support.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Monday October 7, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 10 am from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton.
Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
