Passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House, Oakville, Ontario, on February 12, 2015. Predeceased by Alice, his wife of 40 years, who passed away in August 1982, and his granddaughter Kilmeny Anne, who passed in May 1971. Survived by his four children, Brian ( Suphanna), Andrew (Joan), Vivienne, and Valerie ( David), ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Frank was born in Manchester England, November 6, 1919 to Sarah and Walter Waywell, and emigrated with his family to Canada in 1954. Frank served in the Royal Air Force as a fighter pilot in the North Africa Campaign during World War II. Dedicated to his family, Frank was a man of integrity, with a strong faith, who was an active member of St. John’s United Church in Oakville for almost 60 years. Frank loved life, and loved golf, which he continued to play until his 94th year. Frank will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and many friends. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Frank’s life to be held at St. John’s United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville, on February 26 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers and as a memorial tribute, donations to Prostate Cancer Canada, St. John’s United Church or Ian Anderson House would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place.
