It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Borgatti. Frank passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022, in his 80th year surrounded by his loving family. He is now reunited with his parents Adamo & Iole Borgatti of Italy.

Cherished husband of Judith of 50 years. Loving father of Adam (Daniela) & Kathryn (Mike). Proud grandfather of Abby, Leah, Aiden & Nora. Devoted brother to Gianna (late Cesare) & Bruna (Rudy) & dear brother-in-law of the late Ross (Bonnie), David (Erika) & Stephen.

He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces & nephews Dolores (Loreto), Danny (Yelena), Paula (Paul), Claudia (Dave), Beverley, Michael, Paul, Mark & Riley. He will be sadly missed by countless friends.

Memories of his happy spirit, quick wit and sharp one-liners will forever fill our hearts with warmth and fondness. He loved life and his house was always open to family and friends, many of whom would often stay for a glass of wine or two.

Frank was called to the Ontario Bar in 1972, and had a career that spanned 45 years. He was a dedicated lawyer and was highly respected by his many clients and colleagues. He will always be remembered for his integrity, sense of fairness and as “the finest legal mind between two railroad tracks.”

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge) on December 17, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. Private entombment to follow.

Memorial donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation which was a charity that Frank was passionate about.
