Franco Mastrolonardo

It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Franco Mastrolonardo on Friday, November 5, 2021. Loving and devoted husband of Michelina for 64 memory filled years. Cherished father to Clair (Mike) and Joe (Christina). He will be fondly remembered as ‘Nonno’ to Michael, Alexander, Matthew, and Arianna. Franco arrived in Canada from Triggiano, Bari, Italy in 1952, where he met his lifelong love Michelina, and started a family. He lived his life characterized by hard work, perseverance, kindness, and a deep respect for others. Franco will be deeply missed by his immediate and extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Franco Mastrolonardo’s name to Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, either through their website hillhousehospice.com or at Ward Funeral Home, where envelopes will be provided during visitation hours.
