It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Francis Apa on Sunday Aug. 25 at the age of 95. Devoted and loving husband of Mary Stella for 70 years. Much loved father of Vito (Joanne), Anthony (Susan) and Frank Jr. Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Stephen, Catherine Elizabeth, Nicolas and Catherine. Great grandfather to Serena, Andrew, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Caterina, Mateo and Lucas. Brother-in-law to Domenic (Doreen) and Joseph Romeo. He will be forever missed by his many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held this Thursday at Ward’s Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave W), Weston from 2 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church 122 Rathburn Rd ( at Kipling Ave). Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave (Mt. Pleasant Rd north of Eglinton). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood, 2210-25 Avenue, Regina Saskatchewan, S4S 4E6.
