Francesco Forgione

Francesco Forgione was born January 28, 1941 to parents Salvatore Forgione and Maria Cipriano in Guardia Lombardi, Avellino, Campania, Italia. Following in his parents footsteps, Francesco took on his parents values, traditions and hard working qualities to forge a life of his own during a time when life was not easy. His parents guidance and love were instrumental in the person and man he was to become. This was the basis and foundation for all who carried the Forgione name. A name that is held with great honour, esteem and respect to this day.
Francesco married Concetta Giordano and together immigrated to Canada and built a beautiful family. Francesco and Concetta were parents to Maria and Salvatore. Their love and guidance can be seen today. Francesco's children have reaped the benefits of his enduring love, strength and sacrifice to pursue and build a life of their own blossoming under a strong and forever enduring family bond, a bond that can never be broken.
Francesco was a man among men. He was an inspiration and a leader. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Though most importantly he was a simple man who gave and didn't want to receive. The greatest gift that he did receive was his families love. This was the only thing he accepted and wanted. That is what he lived for and the primary gift that made him happy always. Francesco will forever be loved and remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
