Francesca “Franca” Lio

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Franca on Thursday June 30, 2022 at the age of 95. Devoted wife of the late Ernesto. Proud mother of Anthony (Vincenza). She was a cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Franca has been reunited with the love of her life Ernesto and her loving parents and siblings.

Franca and Ernesto enjoyed life. Long walks together, dancing, entertaining and traveling kept them active. Winters together were spent in sunny Acapulco.

As a widow Francesca’s faith helped her move forward. She would spend time in the garden and watching her cooking shows which would give her inspiration to try new and exciting creations for her family. Franca enjoyed being pampered by going for facials, manicures, and pedicures. Her travels continued with doing church Pilgrimages.
