Frances Louise Woods

Woods, Frances Louise (nee Dunne) – passed away in her 90th year on January 15th, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto. Wife of the late William Arthur Woods. Mother of Tom (Ruth), Edward, Mary Jane (Rob Sloan), Margaret (Steven Kuhlman) and Norah Louise (Mark Johnson). Grandmother of Shannon and Derek Woods; William Sloan; Patrick, Thomas and Robert Kuhlman; and Samuel Johnson. Sister to Catherine Tucker. Predeceased by siblings Joseph, Lawrence , Justine, Margaret and Ellen. Lovingly cared for in her final years by Wonica Cross, Lorna Cyrus, Joan Fraser and Marjorie Suico. Frances moved to Toronto from the family home in New Liskeard, Ontario during WWII and worked as a legal secretary on Bay Street before marrying Bill Woods in 1951. She devoted her life to her family and kept her sense of humour to the end. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 49 George St., Weston on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
