Frances Mary Howarth

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 at Kingston General Hospital at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband Louis and siblings, Clifford, Douglas, Margaret and Lloyd Pearson. Dear mother to Ron and Mary Lou (Barry). Devoted “Mannie” to her grandchildren: Emily (Bryn), Karen (Mark), Jennifer (Joe) and Julie (Bill) and 6 great grandchildren: Mason, Rex, Amelia, Jack, Ivy, and baby Clara on the way.

Frances worked as executive secretary to the president of Regal Stationery for many years. She was a lifelong member of Westminster United Church in Weston and a prominent member and soloist in the choir. Frances was fun loving, generous and kind and is fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Many thanks to the kind and caring staff at the Waterford Retirement Residence and to the KGH Davies 3 doctors, nurses and PCAs who provided such gentle care in her final days.

An interment will take place prior to Frances’ Memorial Service on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 at 11:00am at Riverside Cemetery, 1567 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke. Friends will then be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 from 2:30pm until the time of service in the chapel at 4pm.
